I'm not a missionary. Nor do I want to be known as one. Nevertheless, unsolicited comments such as what follows may brand me as such. So consider this as just sharing - like what may be done after seeing a great movie.
I've been enamored with the teachings of Jesus since I was old enough to walk across the street on my own to attend church. Over the years, I have listened to many stories about Jesus, read several books about him, and recently came across one that I think bears a little attention.
There are many stories that declare that Jesus visited India. But when? The book I am about to describe, available online in HTML format, is probably the most telling. However, the author himself is a subject of much dispute:
In Qadian, India, there lived a holy man by the name of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. He was pious, truthful, righteous, noble and a great scholar of Islam. He claimed to receive revelations from God. In 1882, he received his first revelation of being commissioned to reform the world. Under divine guidance he claimed to be the Promised Messiah, the Imam Mahdi and the Reformer of the Latter Days. He addressed himself forthrightly to the wrongs prevailing not only in the world of Islam but also in other religions. This raised a storm of hostility against him from all quarters, the like of which has rarely been witnessed in the history of mankind.
Ahmad's book, Jesus in India, contains a lot of information, the likes of which have historical and archeological evidence, if only to the people of India where Jesus supposedly lived and died. It declares, inasmuch as Christianity would deny, that Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, he "swooned" (as Ahmad terms it), which in modern language means only that he lowered his body's metabolism to the point, that to any witness, he was "dead". This "feat" if one can call it, is practiced today in India by several people and is an annual "ritual" of kinds in certain places in India whereby the individual will place himself in a "swoon", be buried for three days, and come out none the worse for wear. Medical observations of this act have clearly shown that the individual did not "die", but has such a lowered metabolism that no heartbeat or breathing can be detected. Even the brain activity is lowered to such a point that medical examiners see this as deeper than a comatose state. Such is the power of the mind over the body. Paramahansa Yogananda may have done as much when he supposedly "died" (he declared he would rise again in 9 days), but the Los Angeles medical examiner broke in after about five days and had his body, which had not yet shown any signs of decay, embalmed - as is the American custom for any "dead" person within three days after death.
The rest is up to you to decide for yourself - did Jesus visit India after his "resurrection"? And is it there in India where his body is buried, as much personal testimony and archeological evidence indicates? And should this, if it is true, alter the message of Jesus in any way? If it is true, then certainly Christianity should rethink its obsession (actually, idolatry) on the death and resurrection of Jesus, and maybe even on the whole concept of a virgin birth. For me, Jesus is the Son of God, but no more or less than myself or anyone else - the difference being that Jesus consciously realized his birthright and lived accordingly.
Here is the link to the book, Jesus in India:
Lastly, let's not forget what Quantum Physics has been telling us for over a hundred years - that we are creating our universe as we observe it, and this really means that we alter how the universe behaves by how we observe it. So what have you been looking for? Look at your belief systems right now and how they manifest in your life. What seems to stand between you and the truth of what you are? There are steps to remove the only block that is the veil to God's love. The first is a decision that you make. The power of decision cannot lie in choosing different forms of what is still the same illusion and the same mistake. All choices in the world depend on this. To truly "see" the universe as it is, and yourself, one must give up all beliefs, perceptions, and judgements. In effect, to be as little children. Isn't this what Jesus tried to tell us?
I am as God created me. And I am His Son.
As are we all.
As it is in Love,
